Midex controls 39,966 hectares of lithium focused mining claims

Midex is a Canadian based lithium focused exploration company that owns a 100% interest in two significant land positions in Ontario’s leading lithium districts - Favourable Lake and the Seymour-Crescent-Falcon district. In addition to these belts historic occurrences and production, the belts are also known to host Tier 1 lithium deposits, and a variety of critical minerals, including copper, nickel, molybdenum and zinc.

In a jurisdiction poised to become an essential producer, supplier and manufacturer in the EV global market, Midex continues to enhance value through strategic acquisitions of prospective lithium properties.

Midex’s portfolio of lithium properties includes Crescent Lake, Berens Lithium North, Berens Lithium South, Allison Lake, Onion Lake and the Case Lake property.  Presently, Midex is focused on its Crescent Lake and Berens Lithium North project’s, both of which are located along unique lithium trends that are proven to host exceptionally rich, large tonnage, spodumene deposits.

  • Historically, Canada has seen very limited investment in lithium exploration and production in comparison to other commodities. Currently, there is one operating lithium mine in the entire country however, Canada ranks number 6 for having the world’s largest lithium reserves behind countries such as Chile, Australia, Argentina, China and the United States. The growing demand of battery metals and forecasted deficit for lithium, has investors charged to support greater exploration, with Canada emerging as a front runner for investment, through the introduction of investor friendly incentives, most prominent being the Critical Minerals Exploration Tax Credit or “CMETC”, announced by the Canadian federal government in April 2022.

  • Midex has approached the acquisition of mining tenure through both a geologic and business lens; concentrating acquisitions on properties that are located close to established infrastructure and supply chains, and that are along strike of projects bearing world class results, such as the Frontier Lithium PAK project and the Green Technology Metals Seymour Lake project. Neighbouring advanced staged projects promote the acceleration and rate of new discoveries, in addition to improving future project economics.

  • Midex has taken a deliberate approach in assembling its lithium portfolio; relying on key geological criteria and indicators to extend recognized districts that are known to host large tonnage spodumene deposits.

  • Ontario is evolving into a dominant tier 1 jurisdiction with unprecedented levels of government and foreign investment to bolster the critical minerals industry.

Midex’s portfolio of projects are all located in Ontario, Canada. Ontario has consistently scored high on the annual Best Practices Mineral Potential Index, which ranks jurisdictions based on which region’s geology encourages exploration investment” or is not a deterrent to investment. In the last published index by the Fraser Institute (2022), Ontario scored 83.33 and ranked 7/47 globally.

“Midex continues to target high quality hard rock spodumene lithium assets. We understand geology is fundamental for new discoveries, and have focused our acquisitions on projects that are in leading lithium districts, directly on strike of the primary geological control structures - Midex is not a 'closeology' play.”

Our team is strategic, and are continuously monitoring and anticipating opportunities that minimize risk, enhance shareholder value and deliver long term success.

We saw the lithium opportunity before many of our peers and executed early to acquire the most prospective lithium ground available in the province of Ontario. We have discovered a number of highly prospective lithium-bearing pegmatites during initial prospecting at Favourable Lake, and have now added more spodumene-bearing pegmatites hosting high grade lithium and tantalum values at Crescent Lake.

Similar to Midex’s other projects at Allison Lake, Onion Lake, and Case Lake; Crescent Lake has excellent road access and proximity to power and rail. For investors, the Midex story is very simple. We aim to meet the lithium supply challenge, by leading new discoveries of quality spodumene deposits, which are most economic to process. The acquisition of the Crescent Lake property is another example of putting this simple strategy to work.
